WELCOME TO THE FUND "METIS"

The children's charitable fund, METIS, was founded in 1998. How has this organization progressed over the fourteen years of existence and what was achieved?

All of the METIS children received assistance from the METIS foundation. More than three hundred families and children received much needed aid in the form of food, clothing, and shoes. We also have found sponsors for METIS children requiring medical aid.

In recognition of our work, METIS charitable fund has been granted a tax exempt status. METIS provides assistance to the family members trying to help with issues of unemployment and training. Many children are living either with their mothers or grandmothers or being brought up in orphanages.

The fathers of these children either cannot be located or, if found, are unable to provide any help or do not wish to accept their children. because of new marriages and other extenuating circumstances.
