METIS ANNUAL REPORT
How METIS Helped Children and Families in 2008-2009

  • Second hand clothing and shoes were provided for each METIS family three times a year.
  • Twenty fou children aged 6-18 and mothers had attended the educational center.
  • 150 food packs. were distributed by the United Way and the MPC within 10 months.
  • Support and presents were given to children victims of the racial attacks and physical abuse by the skinheads.
  • Food packages equipment were provided to the METIS Foundation in Ryazan.
  • Fifteen children had been taken on a boat trip.
  • Trips to a theater and a circus.
  • Afro-Russian Community meetings were organized monthly to boost morals.
  • 25 of the METIS children had attended the Summer camp this year.
  • The children receive continuous donations (books, clothing, money).
  • 10 children went to holiday in Crimea last summer (supported by the EU grant).

And many other things, too difficult to enumerate, were accomplished by us to assist metis children.
